Arts Centre

Applause posterApplause!

What makes a great show? …To be honest there isn’t a single answer but if you come along to the Swindon Arts Centre on Sunday 28 November you can find out what makes a spectacular night of entertainment.

You will be in for a good dose of comedy, singing, dancing, pretty girls, dashing costumes and a whole evening of top class entertainment.

Our compére for the evening, who will set the tone and atmosphere for the show, is Stage Struck’s Geoff Marsh.  As well as hosting the evening he will also have us in stitches with is comedy partner in crime Ken Jell with some of their sketches and also host a sing along of popular songs.

Bringing some Broadway sparkle to the evening we have local girls Cheryl Loxton, Kym Rose, Ellen Howard and Sasha Baker. All very talented they will be performing a sizzling, seductive, yet humorous blend of Broadway hits

Captivating the audience with their astonishing voices with some popular songs we have 3 amazing vocalist entertaining us.

The Arts Centre’s very own Clarry Bean will also be making a rare appearance nowadays and delighting us with fantastic rendition of songs.

Jahmene will be in Applause

As well as Swindon Talent 2010 winner, a young solo vocalist called Jahmene Douglas.  He blew the audiences and judges away with his outstanding performance in the final and is one of Swindon’s up and coming singers and is definitely a name to remember and look out for in the future.

Not forgetting 2009 Swindon Talent winner Jade Wilkinson, who has since gone on to appear at the Ex-Factor Bowl Concert supporting Same Difference.

Empire Theatre Company will be showcasing an exclusive preview of their production of Nutcracker, The Musical ahead of their full production later in the year at the Arts Centre along with Stage Struck who will be keeping the energy levels high with their show stopping performances from their May show.

Tiffany will be in Applause

Making her Swindon stage debut will be Tiffany Gobbelin "The Duchess of Monmouth" - This is an act not to missed.  In her own unique way Tiffany will entertain you with a comical operatic routine that has to be seen to be believed - I will warn you that some of Tiffany's material contains references of an adult nature although she has promised to be on her best behaviour for us!

Tickets are now on sale from the Arts Centre box Office (01793 614837) Tickets £10
