Adult Community Learning & Swindon Learning Ambassadors
Swindon Borough Council are funded through the Skills Funding Agency to provide a range of Community based courses across Swindon. These are usually free and take place in facilities close to where you live
In order for us to know we are getting this right, we would like to hear from you and gather your views on what you would like to see provided. Perhaps you would like to learn how to use a computer, or need a food hygiene certificate to get back to work, or maybe some help with your maths and English. Speak to one of the Learning Ambassador and find out how you can become involved or for support in finding learning that is right for you.
Have you ever thought about learning something new and don’t know where to start?
Speak to a Learning Ambassador!
Learning Ambassadors are people like you. They know how to motivate others and they know the value of learning for themselves.
- Learning Ambassadors can help you work out what’s stopping you from learning
- Then help you overcome these barriers
- Perhaps you need a crèche so that your children are looked after while you learn
- Maybe you would like to learn close to home rather than go to a college
- You might just want that little bit of support to get you there.
