SSP Conference November 2011

SSP Conference November 2011

November saw our second SSP Conference of the year, which attracted 250 delegates on the day.  The Conference focussed on the theme of 'Community Involvement, Volunteering and Community Projects'.  There was a hub of activity on the day which included presentations from various speakers around volunteering; delegates participating in a World Cafe discussion. We were also entertained by the Swindon Big Sing Thing choir who energised the Great Western Hall at Steam and got us all singing along.  The afternoon was designated as a Market Place session where delegates could network and browse the stalls to find out more about local initiaitives and groups. Information from the day, including the presentations, is now available on the Conference page of the website. Lots of information is available including video clips of the speakers presentations.

We would like to thank all involved including delegates, speakers, table hosts and market place stall holders for their support and participation which made the Conference so successful.
