One Swindon
Delivery Plan
It's been a very busy few months for the team working with our Partners in producing the One Swindon Delivery Plan. We are pleased to let you know that the Delivery Plan was adopted by Cabinet on 8th June 2011 and is currently on a journey through Partner Boards during July and August 2011. A copy of the Delivery Plan is available here.
We will update you regularly on progress.
SSP Conference Autumn 2011

Swindon Foster Carers needed
Swindon Borough Council’s Foster Carers play a critical role in the lives of our community’s most vulnerable children and young people. All these individuals make a positive and lasting difference to children and young people’s lives. Swindon Borough Council has approximately 155 “Foster Families”. These Carers are well trained and skilled in working with what can often be challenging behaviours. They are all highly committed to children and young people.
There is a need for more Foster Carers in the Swindon area to help keep Swindon’s most vulnerable children safe and stay in their community.
Swindon Borough Council is launching a one year campaign to highlight the need for more Foster Families. The campaign aims to encourage a diverse range of people to come forward to meet the needs of children and young people in care. Read more
