June 2008 Conference

June 2008 saw another busy month for the Swindon Strategic Partnership which included the Conference on the 12th.

Over 120 delegates attended representing local businesses, voluntary and community agencies, parish and local councillors, our strategic partners and statutory bodies.  The agenda for the day was exciting and varied and included: final updates for LAA1 from Block Chairs; keynote speakers from the Audit Commission informing the audience on the Comprehensive Area Assessment and what it will be mean to Swindon when it is launched in 2009.  Swindon's Second Local Area Agreement 2008-2011 was also launched.
