WILTSHIRE AND SWINDON RURAL REGENERATION STRATEGY

A Rural Regeneration Partnership has been established in Wiltshire and Swindon involving all of the local authorities and other local organisations such as the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust and Community First.  The aim of the partnership is to address the key areas of economic, social and environmental imbalance which are detrimental to the quality of life and well being of those that live and work in rural areas.  The members of the partnership have produced a strategy and action plan and have assisted with funding bids for local regeneration projects in rural areas.
