Performance Management of the Community Strategy

Swindon's first Community Strategy was developed by the Swindon Strategic Partnership, it is a long term plan to ensure a better quality of life for everyone in Swindon, now and in the future.
The Strategy sets out some very challenging priorities for Swindon which require all partners to work very closely together to meet the challenges.
A performance management framework was developed around the 11 main priorities that local people have consistently identified as the most important to their quality of life.

This report effectively closed down the first Community Strategy 2004-2010.
Further reporting will be on the new 'Vision for Swindon' and will commence with the monitoring of the Community Strategy Year 1 Action Plan.
