The Friends of Swindon Railway Museum support STEAM by providing additional funding to assist with acquisitions. The Friends also provide help in a more personal way by acting as stewards at special events at STEAM and elsewhere.
Members may be given the opportunity to join one of the working parties involved in overhauling equipment, cleaning and restoring exhibits.
The Friends is a Registered Charitable Trust (No. 801555) and is a Registered Company by Guarantee No 2302683, administered by a committee formed of members elected at the Annual General Meeting.
